I prepare to utilize a 1000watt hps to flower However i believe 1000watt may cause a lot of high temperature. Would a 1000watt hps be considered a flame risk to safety in the typical develop place scenario? or would a 600 watt with a few CFLs close to be much better?

I'm using CFls 250 watt no heat and doing a great job. my red lamp is 2100k which is nice ,my blue lamp is 6400k. reply if you want to know where to get them.

I would go with the 1000 watts over the cfl option, watt for watt hid lights will give you way more in the end. If you foot print is large enough I would suggest goin with 2 600's
